CERTIFIED PEER RECOVERY SPECIALIST PROGRAM

According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), peer support services have been shown to improve treatment outcomes and reduce relapse rates significantly. Moreover, the Bureau of Justice Statistics, shows approximately two-thirds of individuals released from prison are rearrested within three years. Thus, the need for effective reentry programs and support services is widely recognized by criminal justice agencies, policymakers, and community stakeholders. This growing awareness and acceptance of peer support within healthcare systems present a favorable environment for VERB's services.

VERB is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist-led program designed to create and facilitate optimal transition for individuals reentering society, struggling with Substance Use Disorder (SUD), or dealing with traumas.​
